Status reports via SMS, online display on your PDA, Internet presentation on the Sunny Portal and even the integration of large virtual power plants are possible for your application.
SMA completely covers all the different kinds of communication applications for PV-plants with the Sunny Boy data technology. It provides all possible monitoring concepts for PV-plants both for grid connection or for island grids. The possible components monitored by the Sunny Boy data technology are single Sunny Boys in home systems or large-scale plants with hundreds of Sunny Boys. Use it with any SMA inverter: Sunny Boy or Sunny Island, Sunny Mini Central and the Sunny Central can all be integrated into your communication and monitoring system.
SMA uses standard interfaces and platform independent technology in order to ensure a seamless integration of the Sunny Boy data technology into existing structures. In case of special applications common protocols and interfaces allow the integration of Sunny Boy data technology into your specific infrastructure.
