Selling Commercial Solar

Broadly covers the nuances of selling, financing, designing and permitting commercial solar systems, focusing primarily on installations of 100kW or greater.  Expect to learn how to create an accurate financial analysis and a relevant and compelling presentation designed to convince the corporate customer to say yes.  Learn how to incorporate commercial financing and power purchase agreements, when appropriate.

The class will also provide a high-level overview of technology specific to larger commercial installations and when those technologies can be used as an effective selling point.

Prerequisites:  This class will assume a basic knowledge of PV products, installation techniques and renewable energy incentives.  It is highly recommend that students either have previous experience selling and installing solar PV systems and/or have taken the introductory PV 101 class.

Our classes may provide NABCEP credits for those who want to fulfill the 40-hour training requirement for the NABCEP Installer exam.
